Biography - Daniel D. Ramage

President and Founder, A+ Energy Services Inc., Hampstead, NH. 

Daniel is an E.P.A. Certified home energy rater, certified energy auditor, and certified geothermal installer. He has been in the energy performance field since 1992 and has personally provided energy audits and energy upgrade services to over 2000 homes and businesses in the New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts area.

His knowledge, training and most importantly, his personal experience in application and troubleshooting have proven valuable in solving energy loss, indoor air quality and moisture / mold issues. Daniel has a wealth of information on what works and what does not work. He prides himself on his passion for energy performance and his willingness to continually stay educated on the forefront of Building Science.

Dan Ramage founded A+ Energy Services in 1997. Dan has spent over 15 years in the energy and construction industry. Dan's career began with Apple Insulation in Haverhill, MA, an energy performance company. At nineteen Dan career became job foreman and was instrumental in creating and promoting innovative solutions to increase productivity. Dan was also a manager at Brockway Smith, a manufacturer of building components and assembles. He founded Buddy Company, an energy performance company in 1997, in Haverhill, Ma. In 2000 he relocated to NH and he founded A+ Energy Services and later incorporated in 2002 in Hampstead, NH. Dan is a certified Home Energy Rating System ( HERS ) and Kansas building science graduate. He has completed numerous energy science programs and certifications including: the Rick Karg Indoor Air Quality Training, Energy Auditor I and II, International Ground Source Heat Pump Association Geothermal Installer, Phillips Applied Lighting School and Combustion Safety Testing and Training. Dan loves to stay on the forefront of practical application as displayed by designing and implementing his knowledge into new construction achieving only 11 cents per square foot for heat , hot water and well pump costs , without solar in his own home. Memberships include: the Residential Energy Performance Association ( REPA charter member ), International Ground Source Heat Pump Association ( IGSHPA ) and Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance ( SPFA ). Dan is active in various community programs through his church and many foreign exchange programs. Dan is a graduate of the Kansas Building Science Institute.

• 2000 - Moved yo NH to better server the needs of enjoying clean air nice people.
• 2002 - Incorporated as A+ Energy Services, attained 5 years of of the most
  energy saved for the Public Utilities customers.
• 2006 - Due to high fuel and false energy performance claims from mass media and marketing,
  decided to take our skills , talent and experience to the general public so nobody if left out
  of attaining less energy usage and more savings on energy expenses
  no matter what their heating or cooling source is.
